This painting was created after I got back from a trip to Israel and I really felt the difference of what’s it’s like to be a Jew in America in contrast to the sense of belonging and connection that I experienced in Jerusalem

The inspiration for this painting lies in the analogy of humans being likened to sheep under the guidance of a shepherd, who represents God's nurturing and care. Just as the shepherd watches over his flock with love and vigilance, so too does the divine presence guide and protect us on our journey through life.
