This is no doubt a self portrait of Valentine Stirewalt. What is very unusual about this photograph and it's something I don't think I've ever seen before.. is that the camera appears to be a prop. The theory is that he only had one camera, which was used to take the photo so Stirewalt had this realistic looking prop made.
