Vintage Saddle or Hunting Flask in Leather Case by Walklate - Flask245 nov23 They are in good conditionThis conical flask has a silver plated bayonet or captured cap. The flask is handblown heavy crystal The red brown coloured case has a very good patina. It is stamped "Walklate Berkhamsted", John Walklate (1819 1894) was born in Hemel and was a saddler and harness maker all his working life, his shop seems to have ceased trading in the mid 20th century The case closes with a billet fastening The case has its original top strap which attaches the flask
