Antique early Australian 15ct Yellow Gold Floral Patterned Crucifix Circa 1900 all claw set and interspersedThis absolutely wonderful antique crucifix features ornate trefoil ends to each of the four points (a common symbolism used in Christianity) with a crisp floral hand chased pattern to the centre extending to each arm of the crucifix. To the bottom point of the verso is the makers stamp, a Unicorn which despite being faint in appearance is still identifiable, belonging to one of our most influential early Australian jewellery firms, Willis and Sons.
