What we do know is that originally it was constructed of high carat 22ct gold throughout however some time in antiquity it has been re-shanked with 18ct gold and the demarcation lines can be seen

Modelled in pale yellow glass and designed in popular Cornucopia style with enamelled detail featuring pretty Snow Flake (Leucojum) flowers to the rim. The fully functional cap in brass gilt opens to reveal, miraculously, its original tiny glass stopper which is in excellent condition. Brass gilt chain and finger ring complete this
